College Readiness Tests
PLAN Test
Taking ACT Plan as a 10th grader is a great way to prepare for the ACT® test—and helps students to get ready to succeed in college and beyond. ACT Plan includes four multiple-choice tests: English, math, reading, and science. Students’ skills in these subjects will make a big difference—in school and, eventually, in their careers. ACT Plan score reports will help identify strengths and areas where improvement is needed.

PSAT and the National Merit Scholars Quarter Test
When you take the PSAT/NMSQT, you’re automatically screened for the National Merit®Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. The PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9 are not considered for entry.
SAT
Created by the College Board, the SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The idea (in theory, at least) is to provide colleges with one common criterion that can be used to compare all applicants.
